Please return your appointment slip if you haven’t already, thanks.

Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box Appeal
A leaflet giving guidance on filling a shoe box for children overseas in very difficult living situations has been sent home. This year the boxes from the Guildford area will be going to Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan. The deadline for returning boxes to school is Friday 14th November. Thank you for your support.

There will be a group for parents or carers who find their children’s behaviour challenging. The group will run on Monday mornings on 17th, 24th November and the 1st December from 9-10:30am. Tea and coffee will be available beforehand in the staffroom. The group will be supported by me but the group will decide which direction we will go in. If you would like to join the group please contact me in person or by e-mail on lucyc@holytrinity.surrey.sch.uk. Lucy Cray, Home School Link Worker.

Book Fair and Library Clubs
Next week there will be a book fair running in the library every day both before and after school. The library and the book fair will be open during the Parent Consultation evenings. I will have some reading lists available to take away. Owing to the Book Fair there will be no Library clubs next week; this will mean there will be no Dangerous Book Club on Monday; Board Games on Tuesday; Chess Club on Wednesday or Creative Writing on Thursday. Lunchtime clubs will run as normal. Please do come and have a browse around the Book Fair and help us buy more books for school!

Suggested Book List for WWI
You can download a copy of the WW1 suggested book list here.

Christmas Production Rehearsals
The children should have collected schedules but I can print some more off. Rehearsals are held between 3.30 and 5pm, in the Chapel, and, as it is a devised piece, for the next week assume that your child is needed for all rehearsals. In the last 2 weeks we will be able to be more specific but this year the production involves most of the cast for most of the time! In the final week the children will be working in their house groups only and this is clearly marked on the schedule. Keep an eye on the door to 4S...any changes will posted there. Thank you for your patience and co-operation. SM
