Holy Trinity Pewley Down (HTPD) is a school with a strong ethos where all children are “treasured and loved as unique children of God.” All applicants must love children, be committed to delivering the best possible education, be excited about working in a creative, Christian school.

There is a happy, purposeful atmosphere at HTPD which is a primary school based on 2 sites (Infants and Juniors) situated about a mile apart. There is a strong sense of community where everyone is valued. We have an effective Senior Leadership Team and offer a supportive working environment in pleasant surroundings with parking available on-site. Colleagues are very supportive and enjoy working together. Freshly prepared lunches are available daily.

Current Vacancies

1. TA in Year 4 (Part-time – mornings)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in Year 4 to support reading and maths, either individually or in small groups We are seeking a caring key worker who can nurture and support the learning and development within and beyond the classroom. Training will be provided, but previous experience would be advantageous. We offer a supportive working environment in pleasant surroundings with parking available on-site.

This is a part-time position (term time only) which is remunerated at Surrey Pay grade 3. Working hours would be 08h30 to 12h00 daily (17½ hours per week).

2. SEN TA in Year 3 (Part time – 13¼ hours)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work with a child in Year 3 to support their speech and language and help with routines and changes with activities. We are seeking a caring learning support assistant to assist this child within the classroom and with some social interaction. Training will be provided, but previous experience would be advantageous. We offer a supportive working environment in pleasant surroundings with parking available on-site. This is a part-time position (term time only) which is remunerated at Surrey Pay grade 3.

Working hours would be 2 afternoons (12h00 to 15h15) and a whole day on a Friday (08h30 to 15h15) totalling 13¼ hours per week.

3. TA in Reception (Part-time – 12 hours)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in Reception as a Classroom TA for 2 days a week. We are seeking a caring key worker who can nurture and support the learning and development within and beyond the classroom. Training will be provided, but previous experience would be advantageous.

We offer a supportive working environment in pleasant surroundings with parking available on-site. This is a part-time position (term time only) which is remunerated at Surrey Pay grade 3. Working hours would be 08h30 to 15h00 daily (12 hours per week) on a Wednesday and Thursday as part of a job-share.
